Wii Sports Resort.
I'd go so far as to call it one of the best games of 2009.
Swordfighting with 1:1 motion controls was probably the most "wow, holy fuck, now this is next gen" moment I've ever experienced in my 22 years as a gamer. It was just so fresh and new and exciting, the sort of thing that was science fiction when I was a kid.
I sunk a ridiculous amount of hours into the kendo, aeroplane, and archery games, and have many fond memories of playing it with my family and friends.
A truly excellent and relevatory piece of software.
