I think we will find out on NX. Miyamoto hit his peak on Wii with the Mario Galaxies. I find it unlikely that he has fallen so far in a short period of time. Consider that Mario Galaxy was still a long time after Zelda Ocarina of Time, and GameCube had nothing very good from Miyamoto, but then the Wii and DS had lots of very groundbreaking stuff that really carved a huge market out.
