From what Ive heard from software engineers its a ungreatfull job to have.
You work much harder for less pay, your forced to do crunch (hello 16hour workdays).
It has to be a passion type thing, or you dont get into it. Also dont think makeing games is as fun as useing level designers in mario maker, or nintendo wouldnt be able to sell it as a game.
