Impressive image, says a lot not exactly about Miyamoto, but indeed in regards of Intelligent Systems and its recent treatment to the Paper Mario series.
I think the man is still capable of delivering excellent stuff. Pikmin 3 (which hasn't been so mentioned around here) proves this, but after the Wii Music fiasco, the Paper Mario thing and Star Fox Zero, he obviously isn't that devoted to his job, anymore. Bad stuff wins 3:1.
Back in the day he also used to bring new stuff constantly. Now, even when his responsibilities with classic Nintendo franchises like Mario and Zelda are practically over, I haven't seen him very active.
But in the end, this was inevitable. The guy is getting old and Nintendo's philosophy (especially during Iwata's term) may have influenced importantly on him.
My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
