I never really understood the complaints when it came to TP HD's visuals, as if Tantalus didn't change enough. I think it looks fine for what they aimed to accomplish.. which was an HD remaster, not a remake. Wind Waker had a timeless visual style, TP's has not not held up as well, and there's only so much you can upres or retexture before you need to completely recreate the asset.
