| Yerm said: alright, i should clarify some of these points seeing as people are getting the wrong ideas. irst and foremost, i am aware that the Wii U got multiple VC zelda games as well as 2 remasters, but nothing new ever came to the system. 1. I am not saying 3D World is a bad game but it wasnt the mario experience I wanted to see and i know a lot of people that would agree. the 2D / 3D mix was interesting but i dont want to keep it this way. and really, the cat bell powerup feels like such an unneeded addition. there are so many powerups to choose from. the Galaxy games gave us cloud mario, rock mario, a drill, and all of those fit better than a cat suit. 2. dont try to defend it, MP10 was terrible in every respect. it built upon a gameplay mechanic that people hated. a lot of the minigames were based on pure luck. it reused old assets from past party titles. and it had an entire game mode locked behind amiibo. its the embodiment of everything people hate about modern games. 5. i understand Pokken Tournament is a thing that exists, hell im planning on buying it soon. but there are only like 12 pokemon that you can use, and you dont even play as a real trainer. im just saying i would have wanted something more. 6. yeah, the 3DS has Kirby covered, but the Wii had local multiplayer kirby platformers and something like that in HD would have been amazing. 8. while the Wii U doesnt necessarily need add-ons, the port is there and it was never utilized. just google some of the things it could have been used for and then get back to me. |
Zelda HD is still coming to the system and it got what might be the best spinoff of the series and it wasn't just VC releases and HD remakes so you are wrong on that front.
1-So 3DW wasn't the Mario experience you wanted,so what? it's still a 3D Mario game,also you want a Mario experience yet you mentioned Sunshine 2 in your original post when the original is less of a Mario game than 3DW.
2-MP10 is still an MP game,and while I don't agree with the locked amiibo content in the game,the mode itselve it's just a watered down version of the old games that looks to be in the game because of the amiibo,so it doesn't matter what you or I like or dislike about the game or aspects of it it's still an MP game.
5-No Nintendo console has gotten a true Pokémon game,the N64 and Wii games were just Pokémon fights in 3D with the 64 having mini games and the GC ones while they were RPG they still weren't like the hh games so consoles always got spinoffs so again you are wrong on that one since the Wii U didn't miss anything.
6-the GC also only got a spinoff just like the Wii U and besides the only reason the 3DS is getting a 2nd Kirby plat. and not the Wii U is because they can reused its game engine,it's cheaper,faster and because of the sales of both systems,this gen Kirby got 3 games, 1 spinoff and 2 new main series game if the Wii u sold more maybe it would have gotten it's own main series game and the 3DS a spinoff but that it's just baseless speculation on my part.
8-if your response to people is "google it and get back to me" then maybe don't bring it up,you're the one bring it up it's your job to explain it not googles
