So, what's the deal with anime main characters not bringing weapons with them when they're heading into certain danger?
Anyway, Re:Zero is like walking through molasses. It takes so long to get anywhere, even when you can see everything from a mile away. We knew it was the puppy forever ago. We knew she was an oni. These episodes feel like it's the main character talking most of the time and then a little bit of plot development at the end. It's like a soap opera, kinda. I wanted to smack him when he decided to have a nice conversation when he was supposedly in a hurry to save that little girl. It's very "take two steps forward, then one step back."
God, please don't let him die. I don't want to watch him flounder through the same stuff anymore.
Transformation scene was nice, though. The sisters are interesting. Also, Beatrice remains the highlight for me.
