It's not that terrible of an idea, but I don't think bundled titles are Nintendo's issue.
If you look at the Wii U, basically all of the major games were bundled at some point -- Mario 3D World, NSMBU, Mario Kart 8, Splatoon, Smash Bros. U, Mario Maker, hell even Zombi U.
Still didn't really sell the system no matter which bundle they had.
Nintendo's problems are with their overall software ecosystem as a whole.
