This isn't a surprise to me at all. It's a decent rating , but it really deserves better. Even though I expected it right from the moment I heard about Wii Fit, I still feel this type of reviewing is unprofessional. There needs to be a separate rating system and set of reviewers for casual games and concept games, then the 1 that's in place for hardcore games. As it is, the review process for hardcore games has needed a serious overhaul for quite some time now.

I agree that reviewing this is not easy. Its like a race car driver reviewing a family sedan.

They should have gotten a fitness expert to review it...as most gamers will break a sweat by just dipping their nachos in salsa.

At disolitude:

That's a horrible analogy.

race car driver = great driver ,  hardcore gaming critic typically = in bad shape , bad at sports , and lack of knowledge and dislike of fitness ( I hate to stereotype here, but it's so true )

I know you're saying that under the guise, that wii fit has a different set of features than what most game critics are used to , but that line borders on trolling , because it sounds like you're subtly implying that critics are used to exotic performance and Wii Fit is the Caravan of gaming, purposeful , but void of fun. I have a feeling a lot of people will have plenty of fun with wii fit and will feel quite rewarded by it , in a way normal gaming simply couldn't do.
