Dude shipped or not doesn’t mean anything, it still is money in the makers pocket and it will continue to make money as its life nears an end.

Halo is big outside of gaming, you should start reading up more about it. It has some of the best-selling novels in book stores, many none gamers will know what Halo is because Halo is more than just a game. Seems like you refuse to accept this. Final Fantasy is also a big IP and one of the biggest JRPG games going around just like Halo is for the FPS market. I like FF and i have all of them on Steam because it’s one of the biggest brands going around just like I own every Halo game (Including Spartan Strikes PC Exclusive) because it’s one of the best FPS going around. There both house hold names but to say FF is bigger than Halo is debatable. FF only advantage is that it’s multiplatform where Halo isn’t.

Final Fantasy franchise wasn't Multiplataform until 2009.

And i gave numbers of the DVD Sales, Final Fantasy also isn't known outside of Gaming even with this success of sales. And i doubt that Halo's Novel sold Millions of units.

The difference is your comparing a franchise which only started to sell millions from 2000 compared to a franchise which was selling millions back in the late 80s early 90s. I am not taking away from the success of Final Fantasy, it’s a well-placed franchise but let’s not forget FF has been available to many though out the years. FF7 was available on PC and just about every FF game for the 7th gen was multiplatform.

As for your last post. Halo 5 isnt just a modest success, Halo 5 has done wonders, just because the game didnt sell aswell as there previous game doesnt mean the franchise is dieing or on the decline. Game sales is only part of the Halo Universe. Star Wars doesnt have to sell many DvDs to make money, it earns its money off heaps of other things, much like Halo. I dont need to defend Halo because money talks and thats exactly what Halo is doing, $500m in its first week is something not many games can do (Hence i said not many games). As for FF being known outside of gaming i have no clue, i am sure if you ask anybody that are not into games what FF or Halo is they will say most likely say "Isnt that a game" and i am pretty sure FF isnt as big as Halo when it comes to merchandise and books eand life outside of gaming etc.
