I heard he really hated making the last one. Pierce Brosnan seemed to loathe the role too towards the end. Shrugs.
I would've countered with 35 mill pounds for one more film and then bailed out.
Idris Elba or Henry Cavill would get my vote for the next Bond. I don't think 45 for Elba is too old, general speaking black people seem to age better, so he could easily pass for a late 30s Bond with a little easy cover up on any grey. He's 42 now, Pierce Brosnan was 41 when he got the role.
