I think its fine making remasters and spin-offs.I mean, it gives the old and new fans the chance to play with the games they love/will love a second chance with better mechanics and graphics. The problem here that I see is that they made too MUCH remasters.I dont think any system, outside of the gameboy advance, had many remasters and spin-offs as Wii U and 3DS did. They should strike a better balance betwenn new games and remastering old ones, specially on the console side.

I will roll my eyes if the announce SSHD for this holiday, but for the positive side, they have run out from Zelda games to remaster, so no excuse for the next gen to not focus entirely on the main game.

I think Ocarina of Time 3D and The Wind Waker HD were more than enough for a full gen.

Yeah, I agree with you.At least now they will have to focus on new entries. And I dont see a Skyward Sword remaster so soon, since it is so heavely based on motion controls, and since the Wii U dont come with a Wii motion controller bundled, they would have to put an extra effort to make it work with the gamepad(If it even works at all).

With Zelda Wii U being ported to NX, I hope that they learn the ropes quicker this time and manage to deliver Zelda games faster.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.
