It's been doing the rounds for a while, imo solid state formats will return they're not only cheap now but maintain their advantages over discs as well as have overcome their disadvantages.

Now that finals are over, I can actually edit the thread again.  lol.  

I added this rumor to the list.  it certianly sounds interesting, but cartridges cost more to make than discs...

 

Also I have updated the list.  The rumor about the July 2016 launch date has been moved to the "confirmed fake" section.
