Not everything that is patented gets used. Just because Nintendo patented something, it doesn't mean that it will be used in NX.

As Wii U proved, 32GB is not enough by any means. And if you can't think of many Steam games that hit 30GB... take a look at this article from one year ago

http://www.pcgamer.com/the-problem-with-growing-download-sizes/

Digital distribution has been good for PC gaming. The convenience, sales, and increased exposure for small developers have made our hobby significantly more accessible. The increase in download sizes over the last few years, however, is starting to make some games a little less accessible.

That chart proves my point as only 5 games are above 30GB, I also don't get the rest of your argument here are you now comparing WiiU internal storage and the space on the carts? That's a pretty irrelevant argument.

That's not 5 games, that's the evolution in size of games from 4 publishers, 7 engines (on the right of the graph) and 9 franchises: Activision_Call of Duty, Ubisoft_Assassin's Creed & Far Cry, EA_Battlefield & Titanfall, Rockstar_GTA & Max Payne and id_Rage & The New Order.

And if you need more examples: Assetto Corsa is 30GB, The Witcher 3 is 35GB and XCOM2 is 45GB, just to name a few. Games are growing in size and 32GB carts are not enough to store them.

And my Wii U argument came from you: "Either way 32GB is more space by default". Wii U had 32 GB of Storage that proved to be too small for almost all of us.

Please excuse my bad English.
