Like I wrote, M64/Sunshine/Galaxy cant be same seire beacuse are totaly difrent. Mario 3D World is NIntendo attempt to basically make NSMB in 3D and they succeed, but that doesnt make Mario 3D World spin off or not true Mario 3D game, becuse it is.

64, Sunshine and Galaxy are part of the same serie because it's basically the same category even if it's very different in settings. It's a big 3D game with a big view around and the decors are built this way.

3D World have nothing to do with it. It's a sized down game, with very small mechanics and game designs. It's basically NSMB in a semi 3D view built for multiplayer.

It's definitely not a true 3D Mario game.
