It isn't the same thing at all, when you have a superior version releasing at the same time. It completely kills off the Wii U version.

How that kills Wii U version!? On Wii U you would get exactly same game even if there is no NX version at all. Wii U owners who will not buy NX at launch or not buying NX at all will buy Wii U version, Wii U owners who will buy NX on launch regardles Zelda will probably buy NX version of Zelda and people who buying NX and didnt own Wii U will also buy NX Zelda.
