Part of this rumor comes from Micron making a 32GB ROM, which some suggest that it could be what Nintendo would be using. The problem is that those 32GB are not enough for Third Party games (Nintendo games are usually smaller in size).

Also, ROMs may have come down in price, but with game discs being stamped, they are still much cheaper to produce.

Discs right now hold 25 GB so how is having 7 more GB not enough?
