You have a fundemental misunderstanding of the literal point of streaming, which is to not need hardware.

You also have a fundemental misunderstanding of how streaming works. Streaming isn't some nebulous ether of easy-to-port airware. It runs on hardware just like everything else. It would be no easier to port games than it is now.

Also, Nintendo doesn't need to stream to not have physical.

You just said it. The NX servers ARE hardware and the games will have to be ported to run on those servers. Also, high security on these servers fits in with statements I have seen online saying Nintendo is putting lots of security features into NX. They have to make sure the games on these servers are secure.

Will I pay $60 bucks to play CD Project Red's Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 when I already have an NX subscription and can play the game with no extra cost? Or a small extra cost for access to that game? NX would be the more cost effective way to go.

You are assuming that something like Cyberpunk would appear on a streaming service with a NX subscription or small extra cost for access... sorry think you are living in a bit of a dreamworld if you think thats going to happen.

Just look at PS Now for current streaming and what games are on there, nothing substantial and mostly old PS3 games or PS3 exclusives.
