I don't think Marvel has been tricking people into giving good scores - they just built an army of rabid fanboys and built good, working relationships with the media. If you start peering into the Marvel movies, there's so many things wrong with them.

They have such a following BECAUSE they've been making movies that are good.  Trust me, if a movie is truly bad and people don't like it, they don't go to see it.  Transformers is dumb, sure, but it has pretty explosions and great special effects, so it's palatable for an international audience, and furthermore enjoyed by people who know, going in, that this is a movie they shut their brains off for. 

Marvel movies know what they are.  They are silly, whimsical, fantastical superhero movies with a lot of heart and humor and cleverly interlocked stories.  That's what they wanted to be, that's what the audience wants, that's what they deliver on.  That's why people are so willing to give a pass to Marvel, because even when they fail, at least it feels like they tried, and they care.  When we get Batman V Superman, it just feels like some soulless, boring, corporate idea of what some curmudgeonly old guy thinks is 'edgy'.  People don't go to see superman to be depressed, people see superman for hope.  People see Batman because he's cool and intelligent and mysterious, not because he's....okay, he was a great batman, I can't fault the BatFleck.  HE did fantastically. 

Point is, Marvel movies keep the spirit of the source material - flaws and leaps of logic included - whereas DC has been sucking the life from their own stories with crummy BS that nobody asked for, nobody wants, and nobody enjoys.  

THAT is why marvel gets a pass.
