It's obvious that the console was strategically placed in March because the console will get slaughtered in q4 2016. It just goes to show that Nintendo love digging the hole deeper for themselves. Couldn't even wait a full five years before they replaced the wii u.

I totally agree, sadly. But Nintendo did say the NX will coexist alongside the Wii U and not replace it. So why have two consoles going at the same time? Truly Nintendo is up to something here and people are freaking out trying to figure out what it is.

I was throwing gasoline on the fire with wild speculations in this thread and I apologize for that. Truly I have no idea what Nintendo's next thing will be. Have to wait and see.

Nintendo consoles generally have a shelf life of five to six years from my recollection of growing up on their product. I believe thats a PR stunt to ride out the rest of the Wii U's existence. Until then were speculating but I must say that Nintendo once again ignoring E3 is PR suicide. They should unveil the console at E3 instead of waiting until the end of the year for their own show. The more Nintendo dissects the PR the smaller the viewing pool gets.
