Yeah, the ending theme started with like 4 mins left to go so I assumed there would be more after and skipped ahead to the end of the ending theme and there was more And yeah, I really don't get the butler thing. Could kind of understand it the first time (since he seems a bit dumb and all), but after Emilia said to him 'why didn't you just ask to stay as a guest instead?', you gotta wonder why he didn't just do that. Oh and I kind of wish Roswaal would get more screen time. He actually seems like a fun and interesting character while the monotone twins are just boring. |
He went back to being an employee because he was trying to follow the exact same route in order to find out what happened to him. It kind of worked and it kind of didn't--things happened differently but he was still assassinated. The part that got me is that, after all of that, his plan seemed to be "wait in a chair for the assassin to show up". Seriously? At least borrow a sword or something. I know he keeps respawning but I would not want to count on that and I'm sure it still sucks to be murdered. I was thinking "maybe he'll put pillows in his bed to look like a sleeping person and hide in the closet" but, nope, he just sat in a chair.
I actually like the twins quite at bit. They have a very intriguing relationship and I'm sure there is more behind it. Hinted that the younger one, at least, is a demon. However, it seemed like they could have established all of that in way fewer scenes. This episode just seemed to go on forever.
What really pisses me off is the main character. He's in another world with magic and some really wicked people, political turmoil grips the nation, and he keeps getting butchered, but his full attention is on flirting.
