I saw that episode recently too. No doubt he is the "chosen one". Though I remember when I was younger I always thought the "balance" was just starting from scratch. Which meant getting rid of both Jedi and Sith. Though unless they have some really good writing and explanations in the next two main movies, Force Awakens really just threw things out there with no thought about any of this. I feel sorry for the writers of the next movie...
