I didn't know that was a thing. I really don't think I could fail at Conquest with that mode. If it's difficult I'm not ashamed on going through that phoenix mode :P. I really can't get good at FE games, I've tried many of them before Awakening and I was always totally destroyed XD. 

Yeah, it's nothing to be ashamed of. Conquest, or any of the Fates games aren't quite that easy compared to the older ones, as I feel it makes some big changes to the game which overall makes it challenging. I'm a veteran and I'm struggling through it, so no worries if you are too.
