Unfortunately most third party games don't hit my taste. Combine this with the fact that third partys, especially western ones, tend to be lazy when it comes to ports, I see no need to buy their games. On my Wii U I bought Deus Ex: HR (usually I don't like FPS, but the combo with rpg elements, stealth and the heavy sci-fi setting sold me), Scribblenauts Unlimitied (it's as much fun as you want it to be) and Legend of Kay (finally an old school 3D action-adventure), because I like the concepts of all of those games. I've never been interested in CoD, AC, NfS, Fifa, Mass Effect, and so on. I hate that all games seem to go in the same direction these days. I played most of them but got bored very quickly. So third party: give me a cool game and I might buy it. Simple as that.
