E3 is obsolete, if they do their unveil at or just Gamescom it will be much bigger. Gamescom is far bigger than E3.
Nintendo DS was teased as something new, and released in March, eventually selling 150 million.

Sony and Microsoft revealed their respective console at their own events. For all we know, Nintendo might do the same thing.

That would also be better. But it would be interesting if it were playable at Gamescom. So having the reveal before that would make me happy too ;)
