Positives -
NX owners will (probably?) be able to play Zelda in 1080P + 60 fps. The game looked good on Wii U but will probably really shine on the NX.
Maybe Splatoon 2 can launch very close to the launch window now as March 2017 is pretty darn close to 2 years since the first Splatoon, and the first game was made in about 2 years from scratch.
2017 makes certain types of tech use like 14nm Polaris style GPU and HBM2 RAM more feasible.
The delay is only 3 months or so ... not exactly a huge delay by Nintendo standards. You'll still be playing the NX in under 12 months time.
