A controller with a touchscreen is inevitable, but it can be done without alienating consumers. The WiiU Gamepad is enourmus, a screen the size of a DS touchpad would have been fine. It would have made the controller smaller and avoid needing that much processing power from the console itself. Just imagine a slightly bigger Wavebird GC controller with a touchscreen in the midle. Plus, Nintendo has used two screens since the DS, the dualscreen is not going away any time soon. |
For what purpose? No need to make controllers more expensive than they already are.
