They must have used to pay those KGB guys and now Russian leaders more than I thought.  What amazes me is the hero worship he gets from the people he is utterly screwing.

It's funny, we are quick to complain about our own politicians in the west, and they are by any means better people than Putin, yet Putin gets so much praise from Russians.
