Sony has, Spyro, Kratos, Crash (original Naughty Dog Crash), Ratchet and Clank, Jack and Daxter, Sly Cooper, Nathan Hale, Patapon, echochrome, LocoRocos, etc.

They are far from having no mascots. They have the best mascots, Patapons and LocoRocos. They are so much cooler, and original, then a plumber.

 

Crash and Spyro are definitely not mascots. Naughty Dog/Insomniac don't own those IPs anymore. They appear on like all platforms now. Also, a lot you posted are third party and/or not very widely known as mascots should be (like Nathan Hale. Not widely known.). Kratos is the only one I think can do as an "OK" mascot but not really. Sony doesn't really have a definitive mascot like Nintendo has Mario, Sega has Sonic, and MS has Master Chief.

 2nd party titles count, remember Master Chief is now a 2nd party character thanks to Peter Jackson's Halo games.

 

As for definitive, you mean has been on more then one console. Done, Ratchet and Clank. Made by 2nd party developer Insomniac Games.
