Well I'd suggest you wait for the price to go down before buying the game then. Go one step further even: send them an e-mail and let them now why you're upset. Don't reward Nintendo's crappy practices.

I will certainly be getting in touch with them, don't worry.

And while I'll probably still get the game, I will never, ever buy an Amiibo.
