The marvel universe is better, plain and simple. They have much bigger heroes and villains. D.C. will not be as big. They may change the director and producer, but that is it. Well, that was with lower ticket prices, only one of the two huge Superheroes (probably the best known with Spider-Man) and the Chinese market not so huge (I believe The Dark Knight didn't even release there). If these movies would release in 2016 they would maybe even reach $1.5bn and if BvsS would be liked by more peeps, it would also reach it.
If Deadpool would have released in China and Japan, BvsS would beat Deadpool only marginal (if even that, depends how successful Deadpool would be there) This is just laughable if you think about it.
