There's another thread that asks our opinion about NX storage, but I'm sure you already know it.
I would be extremely surprised if Nintendo goes all digital, to be honest. Physical games are still important, not only for those without internet or with poor connections, but also because that gives your machine and games shelf space to make people know about them.
And between discs and cartridges, discs are the best option because they are way cheaper than cards and give enough capacity (for now). Cartridges will be limited to the handheld, where the lack of moving parts is the main reason to use them.
