Really? Because, if anything, touchscreens are becoming a Nintendo staple (3DS, the WiiU, and probably the NX) , and it was adopted by other companies (the Vita has a touchscreen, and mobile gaming is entirely based on touchscreen).

Then again, if this is irony and I'm just making a fool of myself, blame Poe's Law. :P
