The sales of the Wii U beg to differ - it's one of the slowest selling consoles in recent memory and has been outsold by both the PS4 (over 3x) and Xbox One (almost x2), even though it had a year headstart.

If you wait a few years, you may lose a massive slice of the market to competition as other products will prove it's popular, rather than being the product that makes it popular. 

Big whoops they fucked up while their handheld business stays afloat and the wii u and 3ds software is really impressive attach rate. Also the NX is righjt alonmg the corner. Ther mobile business if flourishing and amiibos are still selling while nintendo has a amusement park, and movies in plan for us in the future. The dont need vr ro ar.
