GBA got replaced before GCN, although the GBA sold way better. Same goes for NDS/Wii.

When did Nintendo ever say that they want Zelda as a launch title? It is a Wii U exclusive game. You are saying things about Nintendo that aren't true. 3DS sales are falling. They even had to lower their forecast by 1 million. 3DS is not doing well. It will be replaced first.
