Doesn't he burn a bat-insgnia into a criminal's chest so that he'll get raped and/or killed in prison?
Look I like a darker iteration of Batman as much as the next guy, but this is just flat out not the character at all.
The Bale version embodied heroism moreso while still being dark, "It's not who I am, but what I do that defines me", etc. etc. etc.
Also just randomly shooting at people with a gun ... ugh. Is this supposed to be Batman or Rambo?
