Their development is natural. They're fun to see on screen. They just talk like normal people, not with some bad Z-series poetry wrote by a 5 years old (sorry, George :P). |
Padme wasn't even a character .... her costumes had more personality than she did. She was basically a walking Christmas ornament just sitting around waiting to get knocked up in the trilogy.
Lucas had zero idea about her character at all other than she should speak like an bodybuilder for the first movie.
