I'm not quite sure what it is about QB's visuals that isn't making me say wow. It's certainly nice looking and the faces are one of its better features...maybe it's how soft and blurry they look. Other games have any combination of higher poly counts (shown in wrinkles and facial hair f.e.), higher res textures (seen in pores and imperfections), better lighting or physics, etc that really add to the fidelity. I'm also not a particular fan of photo scan facial animation for games compared to mocapping and handkeying facial rigs as it just doesn't feel as consistent and convincing within the game world.

As for 'emotion', such as that moment of fear in the OP, I can't say it had the same effect on me (4:50). Those quotes feel kinda sensational. And no, I wouldn't put it above Until Dawn or most other recent games with high end facial animation, either.
