It boggles the mind how anyone in charge of such a massive company could make such a massive mistake. All us core gamers do is rip on mobile gaming due to it's interface (touch controls). We've been doing it for YEARS. So if this turns out to be true, it's proof Nintendo not only doesn't know what core gamers want, but hasn't for a very long time. 

or it could mean that mobile games are their future. This just might be a console to try and get console gamers into mobile gaming.
