I had a positive impression initially but as I began using it, it was apparent that things were broke as hell. The sleep button made my pc do a hard shutdown each time, programs that worked fine in my previous version just didn't work. It's kinda buggy at the moment. It's standard Windows fare. It'll get better for sure but by then Windows 10 won't be free anymore. Then they're gonna stop supporting Windows 7 if they haven't already, then they'll make us go to Windows 8.1 or 10. I actually like Windows 8.1 on my laptop. It's not that bad. 10 is a mix of 7 and 8 but it's just a baby right now. It needs more bugs ironed out. |
Damn. I was thinking about updating, but I might just wait then for a couple of months, to see if they manage to iron out the problems. I need a stable OS, and backward compatibility with older software is a must for me. Thanks for the heads up
