Very. I'm sure the 10 year olds of today are fine but they'll never know just how good it used to be. Me and my brother just had this talk tonight about ps4 not doing it for us and wanting to go back to older consoles full time. 

There's just something so comforting by putting a cartridge or dvd game in the console and start playing without a long install or patch or whatever.
