Please provide a link to the Haze review you mention. I don' think Halo Wars is seeing the light of day in 2008.
Regarding the concept of price cuts to start sales, it is a bad idea. MS should hold firm in NA. They already offer a product in the price range of the Wii and well below their HD competitor. They need to increase the preceived value of a xbox purchase. The price cutting is not the best way to increase value or revenue. Also, Sony has already indicated that they have no interest in cutting the price in 2008. Lower shipment projections and their new focus on profitability.
