Other than the insufferable ads, what bothers you most about what happens in the forums, or in general, certain phenomona that go on within the community? Have some subtlety about your criticisms so that you don't get moderated.
I'll list my only one:
Already posted - I think it's annoying when somone posts a thread that's already been posted by another user. Minus points if the thread being reposted is already one of the at-the-time most popular. Have the decency to look through the Latest Topics before you create a new thread based off of news that's been around for a while. It might already be posted. You might just also save a moderator's time by not having to have the thread closed. Not aiming it at anyone specific, but look for a thread with the news you're about to post, especially if posting about a subject that isn't as recent as it could be. Mistakes happen, but try to avoid them.
