Black Ops II takes it for me.
In fact, it was my overall GOTY for 2012.
Cool yet believable near-future tech, great Wiimote + Nunchuk controls, an awesome villain, and a well implemented branching paths system made for perhaps the best campaign in series history in my opinion.
