So they likely could have sold a system on par with the 360 for about 300 (they'd probably have to make some changes like decreasing the ram). They'd probably be giving up on about 75-100 dollars a unit at first though. Which would have equated to a few billion dollars they'd have to make on software sales... which I don't think they'd have made up with software sales. |
for $299 in 2006, they could get around half the horse power of a x360.
