That is completely correct, your title should have read "NA severly overtracked". In case you haven't noticed, the $ is weak, economy is starting to struggle with higher gas/food prices/housing problems and NA sees the effects a few weeks/months before Europe. In the past weeks, I always thought that NA figures are on the high side here (not as dramatic as the NPD April numbers seem to imply for PS3/X360. People _are_ beginning to save money and go for the affordable console - Wii). Many people here have wondered why Sony only gave a target of 10M PS3's for this financial year - this is actually a reasonable forecast as they have already taken the sales slump due to a struggling economy into consideration (neither PS3 nor X360 are going to sell more consoles this year compared to last year once the ecomomy slump sets in hard).
