To be honest Nintendo should just take 2000 extra units/week from their North America/Europe supply pool and just give it to Japan. No one gives a shit about the Wii U in the West and the system has seen zero uptick in sales even with Splatoon and Mario Kart and Mario Maker and Smash Bros. and Amiibo and all that so I doubt they would be missed here.
