Second, and I don't think anyone else mentioned this yet, but it didn't even start this generation. Amiibo are Nintendo's copycat version of Activision's Skylanders. Skylanders started last generation. Not this one.

I can't be wrong on my opinion, I think it's the worst practice this generation, you can't change that, your opinion does not invalidate mine, that's the truth in my opinion, therefore, nope, I'm not wrong on that count.

Now on the second, I'm not talking about Skylanders, I'm talking about Amiibo, Amiibo started this generation, not the last one, there is Amiibo written in the title, it's the first word, bringing a comparision of a similar practice in scope before it doesn't change the fact that Amiibo started this generation, therefore, nope, I'm not wrong on that count as well.

Skylanders pretty much started this whole thing.  Nintendo saw how successful it was, saw how it could easily fit in with their very popular mascot characters, and copied how it worked.  You want to blame someone for this, blame Activision.  And blame them for starting it last generation.

Don't even try and deny it.  Even Disney Infinity beat them to market.
