Amiibo is the worst thing to happen this generation

But it's also really concerning watching people fight for a company taking things from them, the simply thought of "it's not 50% it's 1%" as if that's acceptable is beyond my comprehision, people are ok with having things taken away from them because it's Nintendo!

And a lot of people also don't seems to realise people may not want the amiibo, but buying it is the only way to get that ripped ability, no matter if you want the amiibo or not, as I said in the OP,,if I don't care about amiibos I have to cash in up to $40 for an once regular ability, which nornal dlc would ask for like 50 cents for something like that, which would already be bad.

Aren't the abilities of the other three Kirby series amiibos unique to them as well? That would be four amiibo-exclusive abilities.

From the direct it seems 3 amiibo grant you an ability and an exclusive costume, but the powers aren't. There's a version of Hammer Kirby in the multiplayer quest mode, so its almost garunteed to be in the single player.
