Based on what exactly though? I didn't really hear Nintendo owners really kicking up a fuss when they didn't get original Destiny..

There was a petition to get Destiny on Wii U. There were people who wanted it. Plus there is always something a little extra added when these partnerships happen. Maybe an exclusive Samus skin and arm blaster weapon. Plus I think NX owners will buy it because its a bit of familiarity on a new system.
